Echelon Gives Local Teachers Free One-Year Gym Memberships and Four Personal Training Sessions
Echelon expands its annual Teacher Appreciation Program, giving local educators 7-day access and personal training to support their health and wellness.
As a former teacher, I know how much educators give every day. Now in fitness, I'm proud to be part of a program that gives back and helps teachers focus on their own health.”
VOORHEES , NJ, UNITED STATES, August 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- SOUTH JERSEY — August 2026 — For the third consecutive year, Echelon Health & Fitness is saying thank you to the educators who dedicate their lives to teaching, supporting and taking care of our children.— Jessica Jasper
Echelon Health & Fitness has announced its Third Annual Teacher Appreciation Program, providing eligible local teachers with a free one-year gym membership plus four complimentary THRIVE personal training sessions.
And this year, the program is getting even better.
In previous years, participating teachers received complimentary gym access three days per week. For 2026, Echelon is expanding that benefit to gym-floor access seven days a week for an entire year at no membership cost.
Over the past two years, Echelon has provided hundreds of complimentary memberships to local educators throughout South Jersey, and the company is continuing to build on that commitment in year three.
A Full Year — Not a Trial Membership
The Teacher Appreciation Program is not a seven-day pass, 30-day trial or short-term promotion.
Eligible teachers receive a complimentary Echelon gym membership for an entire year.
The 2026 program includes:
• Free one-year Echelon gym membership
• Gym-floor access seven days a week
• Four complimentary THRIVE personal training sessions
• Complimentary fitness assessment
• Access to Echelon's strength-training and cardiovascular equipment
• Option to upgrade for additional amenities and services
Teachers who want additional benefits, including group fitness classes, pool access, recovery amenities and other premium membership options, may choose to upgrade.
Upgrading is completely optional. Teachers who simply want to use the gym floor can work out at Echelon seven days a week for an entire year at no membership cost.
Four THRIVE Personal Training Sessions to Help Teachers Get Started
Echelon believes providing access to a gym is only the beginning. Providing professional guidance, establishing a starting point and creating a plan can help turn that access into meaningful results.
That's why participating teachers will also receive a complimentary fitness assessment and four THRIVE personal training sessions.
“We don't want to just hand teachers a membership and point them toward the equipment,” said Jeff Quinn, COO and Managing Partner of Echelon Health & Fitness. “We want to help them get started the right way. Give them an assessment, give them some coaching and a plan, and then give them an entire year to keep going.”
There is no requirement to purchase additional personal training or upgrade the complimentary gym membership after completing the included sessions.
Taking Care of the People Who Take Care of Our Kids
What began three years ago as a way to recognize local educators has grown into an important community initiative for Echelon Health & Fitness.
The Teacher Appreciation Program reflects a simple philosophy at Echelon: when the community supports your business, your business should support the community in return.
“Echelon has always believed that being a local business comes with a responsibility to support the community that supports us,” said David Chung, CEO of Echelon Health & Fitness. “Teachers make an incredible impact on our children and our communities every single day. We're proud to give something meaningful back to them and make their own health and wellness a little easier to prioritize.”
After providing hundreds of complimentary teacher memberships during the program's first two years, Echelon wanted to make an even greater commitment for year three.
“Teachers spend their careers taking care of our kids, educating them, encouraging them and helping shape their futures,” Quinn said. “They give so much of themselves to everyone else. This is our opportunity to take care of the people who take care of our kids. We're a local company, these are our communities, and giving back isn't something we want to just talk about — it's something we want to continue putting into action.”
That philosophy is at the heart of Echelon Health & Fitness's mission — to grow a stronger, healthier fitness community and help our members, community partners, PERX partners and their teams move better, feel better and look better.
The Teacher Appreciation Program brings that mission to life by investing directly in the educators who invest so much of themselves in our children and our community every day.
Hundreds of Memberships Donated — And Growing
During the first two years of the Teacher Appreciation Program, Echelon has provided hundreds of complimentary memberships to teachers throughout the area.
Those memberships represent hundreds of local educators who have been given an opportunity to spend time focusing on their own health and wellness.
“Sometimes the people who spend the most time taking care of everyone else are the last ones to make time for themselves,” Quinn said. “We want our teachers to know they have a place here. Come in, work out, get stronger, feel better and take some time for yourself. You've earned it.”
