NJGOP AD EXPOSES REBECCA BENNETT’S HYPOCRISY ON HEALTHCARE, TAXES, AND TRANSPARENCY

COLTS NECK, N.J. ⎯ The New Jersey Republican Party released a new ad exposing Democrat congressional candidate Rebecca Bennett’s hypocrisy on transparency, corporate influence, and policies that would hurt working families and seniors.

Bennett made a fortune in corporate healthcare while working with companies that denied care to sick patients. Yet when a debate moderator asked her three times to disclose her net worth, she dodged the question every time. Bennett demands transparency from others, but when it comes to her own finances, voters are still waiting for answers.

Her double standards don’t stop there. Bennett’s campaign donors are helping cover her childcare expenses, yet she supports eliminating the Child Tax Credit for other working families. She would also raise taxes on Social Security benefits, putting an additional burden on seniors who rely on those benefits to make ends meet. And while Bennett campaigns on getting big money out of politics, corporate donors are helping bankroll her campaign.

“Rebecca Bennett wants to lecture everyone else about transparency while refusing to give voters a straight answer about her own finances,” said NJGOP Chairwoman Christine Giordano Hanlon. “She made her fortune in corporate healthcare, benefits from campaign donors helping cover her childcare, and supports policies that could hurt working families and seniors. That’s not standing up for New Jersey families. That’s a double standard. Congressman Tom Kean Jr. is fighting for New Jersey families, and voters deserve to know the difference.”
